Fort St. John, B.C. (FSJ) is know to be the far frozen Northeast corner of British Columbia, in the beautiful Peace River region.
Many people have heard of this area of the province either from friends, family, or have spent a few years here themselves. It’s a small population with a whole lot going on and is usually under-appreciated until you understand the volume of resources that come out of this corner of the province; and how important it is for everyday life throughout the rest of British Columbia.
Population statistics
63,000 people live and work in the Peace River Region out of a total population of 4.6 million in BC. That is 1.3% of the population. This small number of people produce an enormous 38% of electricity (46% by 2024), and 80% of natural gas produced in the Province as a whole.

Leading operations in the region will be Ryan Siddall, a native of Fort St. John, who comes with over 10 years of EM Locating experience in the region. Ryan has an excellent knowledge of the surrounding area, especially utility line locating in FSJ in particular.
